Here's some of what you will be doing

  • Working with the brand and campaigns team to create fresh, engaging and effective email creative for campaigns
  • Set up and broadcast email campaigns to deadlines, using Bloomreach CDP (customer data platform); responsible for accurately selecting campaign audiences, implementing Google Analytics tagging and testing all emails to ensure they render correctly and all links and coding works
  • Co-ordinate support for tactical local emails, making recommendations to optimise the campaign and manage expectations on delivery timelines
  • Support the delivery and maintenance of campaign, weekly and monthly reporting including ongoing recommendations to improve email performance
  • Deliver the email marketing test & learn programme in collaboration with the CRM team
  • Support the data-driven strategies for acquisition and retention
  • Support all aspects of the Customer Data Platform (Bloomreach) to ensure the system is optimised and data is maintained to the highest quality
  • Support the implementation and refinement of marketing communications journeys for customers joining the database from different entry routes (source, brands, centre etc)
  • Support the data-driven strategies for acquisition and retention

It would be great to see, but not essential:

  • Previous experience in a similar CRM/email marketing role in a fast paced, commercially focused e-commerce business
  • Experience of databases
  • Understanding of best practice including CDPs, CRMs, marketing automation, email best practice including deliverability and reputation
  • An understanding of html
  • Experience in managing external creative and email agencies
  • Experience in multi-site leisure business
  • A working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A working knowledge of Exponea/Bloomreach CDP or similar
