We’re looking for high performing, post-graduate talents to become our next generation of leaders in After Market Services (AMS). We want you to apply your curiosity and hunger for problem-solving, to question the way things are done, share your ideas on how to make us better, and continuously improve our ways of working in operational processes.

Who is Hilti

Hilti is where innovation is improving productivity, safety and sustainability in the global construction industry, and beyond. Where strong customer relationships are creating solutions that build a better future. Where there is pride and a sense of belonging across our 120 locations, carrying right into our lives and homes. Where people are exploring possibilities, leveraging their potential, owning their personal development and growing lasting careers. Hilti is very proud to be ranked as the UK's 12th best large organisation to work for in the Great Place to Work survey.

What does the role involve?

You begin your Hilti career with an 18-month program which aims to set you up for success by providing first-hand experience in the most relevant areas of the After Market Services (AMS).

The program consists of three phases:

  • Rotation between the key roles of a Tool Service Center for a comprehensive and hands-on experience about the major operations, learning from the peak the key drivers for customer engagement.
  • Driving of instrumental improvement projects across the region
  • Developing initiatives from a global perspective and connecting with global functions such as Engineering, Process Management, Supply or Marketing.

These phases will give you a solid foundation to develop towards leadership positions within our AMS division, and build a network that will help unlock international opportunities across the 120 countries in which Hilti has a presence.

Once again Hilti has been awarded as World's Best Workplaces™ in 2023! We are proud to rank 12th in Best Workplaces in the World!

What do we offer

We really value our people and we've worked hard to develop a reward package that reflects this. Some of our benefits include:

  • Genuine career advancement (more than 80% of all leadership roles are filled internally)
  • 6% employer pension contributions
  • Private Health Insurance and Employee Assistance Programme
  • Company vehicle and fuel card for sales roles
  • 33 days' holiday (inc. Bank Holidays) plus the ability to purchase 5 days more annually
  • Paid leave to work on charitable projects
  • Hilti Benefits Box, a reward platform offering a cycle to work scheme and shopping and lifestyle discounts/cashback
  • Different ways to work flexibly, including working from home and compressed hours
  • Employee resource groups focused on gender, mental health, race, disability, LGBTQ+ and sustainability topics

You will be offered immediate responsibility, asked to step out of your comfort zone and closely coached, trained and mentored to excel in your role. If you have a hands-on mentality and the passion to contribute to world-class service operations this could be the role for you.

You will have a steep learning curve, be part of a culture of improvement and see how your work has a direct impact on customer engagement. In return for your exceptional performance and consistent results in this position, we will offer exciting opportunities to move globally around the business.

What you need is

  • You have a Masters Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing or Business combined with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • You have at least 1 year, but no more than 3 years of working experience; you will have just started your career and want an opportunity where you can perform well and progress
  • You are advanced in English language
  • You have a hands-on mentality, passion for learning, and a high commitment to providing an excellent customer experience
  • You’re a global thinker, interested in operational management topics, and keen for intercultural experiences and opportunities working abroad.
  • You are curious and open to change, with a continuous improvement mind-set

Who should apply

We have a diverse team of people and some of our best team members joined us with no industry experience. We are more interested in your learning agility, commitment and drive to succeed.

We hire for a career not for a position: if you are looking for long term career prospects and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally, this might be the perfect start.

Click through the ‘Apply Now’ button where you will be asked to upload your CV and answer a few short questions – the whole process should take around 90 seconds. If we like what we see, you’ll be invited to complete a short video interview.

Once you’re in the formal process – you will be asked to complete a number of short online assessments and then a telephone interview with our Regional Talent Acquisition Manager. From there you will attend a first interview with a member of the GB leadership team and finally the assessment centre.
