About the role
Reporting to the Head of IT and working closely with the Infrastructure and Security team, the IT Operations Analyst is responsible for providing technical support to end users. Acting as the first point of contact, they will accurately record all IT requests and troubleshoot issues to the best of their ability. As a client and customer focused individual, they will engage with all levels of the group organisations to deliver resolutions and services to IT requests. They will take the lead role in implementing and evolving the JML (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) process with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
To be successful in this role, the IT Operations Analyst must have a keen desire to help others and have both a reactive and proactive approach.
Key responsibilities
As a IT Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately logging all requests within a ServiceDesk system
- Resolving ServiceDesk tickets as far as possible before escalating complex issues within a timely equipment
- Hardware support for laptops, desktops and peripheral IT equipment
- Creating documentation for tasks
- Taking ownership of the JML process
- Asset and inventory management
- Administration of the VOIP telephone system.

- IT Service Desk system experience (logging, categorising, prioritising, escalating)
- Experience of supporting desktop applications, such as Microsoft Office and MS Teams
- Administration and support of Office 365, SharePoint and MS Teams
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask
- Experience of VOIP telephony systems
