About the role

The PPC Marketing Executive is responsible for implementing and reporting on digital marketing initiatives for the Halfords Group. This role reports into the Group Paid Search Manager. It covers a range of digital marketing channels including Paid Search and Affiliates.

This is an exciting role within the marketing department, working to maximise ROI across our Paid Search channels. The PPC Marketing Executive will strive for excellence within each marketing channel by focussing on key projects and driving performance across Halfords Retail. They will be responsible for producing and circulating regular reporting with key stakeholders including finance, product and business owners.

Key responsibilities

  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that campaigns are planned using relevant data and analysis available.
  • Work closely with our agency partners to manage Paid Search campaigns in line with channel best practice and internal KPIs across Google and Bing
  • Develop and support the growth of our affiliate programme, managing agency relationships and affiliate partners such as Quidco and Hot UK Deals
  • Produce and share regular reporting with internal stakeholders to build understanding of channel performance and opportunities.
  • Develop a strong relationship with external partners to share insight and ensure that agency partners are up to date on product and promotion information.
  • Proactively monitor industry developments and new digital marketing opportunities and initiatives.

Skills & experience

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with Paid Search tools such as Google Ads
  • Ability to spot trends in data and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Experience in producing and presenting digital marketing reports to summarise key learnings and insight.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced marketing team.
  • Foundational understanding of digital marketing channels.
  • Keen analytical mindset and curiosity to learn about new marketing concepts and techniques.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to think outside of the box for creative solutions and solve problems.
