Position overview
The Brand & Marketing Assistant will support administration, development and implementation of the strategic marketing plan: brand story, consumer experience, product and service portfolio across both GreenAcres and Eternal Gardens brands, summary reports, and presentation materials.
Working in close partnership with colleagues across the group, the Brand & Marketing Assistant will play an important role in driving brand awareness, education and brand preference through sensitively crafted brand activity. Fostering long term loyalty is key to business growth. Meeting agreed KPIs around spend. Support with supplier quotes, copy writing and creative development to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
This role will work collaboratively across commercial and operational teams, delivering proactive, professional brand and marketing activity that meets commercial goals alongside building a brand that supports more people in the UK through their bereavement journey.
Key responsibilities
Brand & marketing activity
- Marketing plan: Support development and implementation of successful annual plan on time/within budget
Product
- Support the development of compelling product and service propositions, along with relevant, impactful sales collateral across the group portfolio (B2B/B2C)
- Advertising & PR: Effectively support development of local awareness campaigns to increase brand share and reach
Assets
- Brief agencies on requirements, quotes, copy writing and creative development
- Events: Support planning, development, implementation, messaging and delivery of events (B2B/B2C)
- promotion and communication campaigns
- Support development and implementation of integrated campaigns that attract and nurture new consumers to the business by creating awareness and converting them into paying customers
- Launch and support compliant product sales promotions and incentives (B2B/B2C)
- Ensure compelling consistent brand content that build the brand, increase sales, and drive preference
- reporting, analysis & market intelligence
- Industry / Market analysis: Support research and data gathering that provides actionable consumer in-sights for continuous improvement of the Marketing plan
- Provide data driven support to demonstrate high levels of customer advocacy with measurements
- Balance scorecard tracking: To ensure ROI on marketing spend and drive Group KPIs
Competitor analysis
- Conduct competitor reviews with research for relevant products/services evolution strategic growth
- Strategic growth: Provide team support for analysis associated with new product, campaign and Park launches
Partnerships
- Provide hands on project support for the successful delivery of partnership opportunities (third party)
- Management of agreed projects, proactive involvement with team projects and approvals
- FINANCE and ADMINISTRATION
- Budget aware, support with accurate audit trail
- Maintain up to the minute training and personal admin
- Support analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts across relevant projects
Qualifications
- Some experience within marketing field
- A track record of successfully writing marketing communications
- Commercially aware
- Empathetic, emotionally intelligent
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Team player
- Computer literate competent with Microsoft, CRM concept and artwork editing
- Confident and accurate written and verbal communication skills
- Awareness of digital marketing automation and the creation of reports

- Full (Manual) Driving Licence required
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
