GRAHAM Construction is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate to join our Design Team within our Building Division. This junior role is ideal for a recent graduate with a degree in Architecture or Construction Management. The successful candidate will support our design team and contribute to various stages of our construction projects.
Key responsibilities
Design Support
- Assist in the development and coordination of design proposals.
- Support the design team in preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions are practical and meet project requirements.
Project Documentation
- Help maintain project documentation, ensuring all design information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other project-related documents.
Site Visits
- Conduct site visits to understand construction processes and gather relevant data.
- Assist in monitoring the implementation of design solutions on site.
Technical Assistance
- Provide technical support to the design team during the construction phase.
- Assist in resolving design-related issues and queries from the site team.
Qualifications & skills
- Degree in Architecture or Construction Management or similar
- Strong interest in construction and design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
