    About the role

    With a Compliance role in ViiV Healthcare you will be part of a team that is integral to our success. You will work in an agile and supportive team, with accountability for the delivery of key business projects. Throughout the placement your team will offer support through training and development to ensure that you are able to grow and take away value experiences from the year.

    All roles are based at our Headquarters in Brentford, London. We’re moving towards a more sustainable future with our new headquarters. With better public transport links and proximity to world-class science and technology institutions, we’re excited for our move to the vicinity of Earnshaw Street, London WC1A (“the New HQ”) by mid- 2024.

    As part of the Compliance team, you will help manage key risks to the organisation by working within the compliance framework. This includes reading and interpreting policies and organising policy training sessions; creating clear and compelling communications using various media and platforms (e.g., email, PowerPoint, Word, Workplace); assessing and checking work (monitoring); arranging meeting logistics and documenting meeting outcomes.

    The successful candidate will gain exposure to the compliance function and how this function supports a global pharmaceutical company, as well as exposure to other key functions (such as marketing, legal, finance). You are expected to bring a positive mindset, creativity, flexibility and an interest in ethics and compliance to the role. You will manage multiple tasks independently and to agreed timelines, working with people across varied business functions, and will need an approachable and collaborative attitude. The role will help build your practical skills to understand and manage business risk, work collaboratively, and develop business communication skills. A successful candidate will learn how a large organisation builds an ethical culture.

    Key responsibilities

    • Support in day-to-day management of global written standards
    • Support in the written standard training preparation & roll-out
    • Involvement in risk assessment activities
    • Conduct, support, or involvement in monitoring (such as adherence to processes) and audit activities.
    • Creation, dissemination, organisation and analysis of surveys, data, reports and information, as required to support Compliance needs.
    • Attendance at risk management and compliance board meetings and drafting meeting minutes.
    • Responding to simple Compliance questions and queries from the business
    • Support and/or leadership of Compliance communication projects e.g., compliance website, workplace posts
