    The purpose of the CSPMI (Closeout & Service PM Intern) is to provide support to CSL and assist CSL to coordinate all the key activities / tasks highlighted in Operations against the relevant warranty projects.

    The CSPMI (Closeout & Service PM Intern) role interfaces with several stakeholders both internal and external to the Operations Department.

    As such it is requires good understanding of project management principles and people skills, in some cases, asking & challenging awkward questions

    Key responsibilities

    • Coordinating all the activities highlighted by the CSL against the assigned projects.
    • Coordinate the “Return Material Authorization (RMA) log process.
    • Coordinate customer returns from receipt to issuing to Quality dept via the RMA process. Monitor progress to ensure that they are returned to the customer with technical reports.
    • IM2: documentation management Support for Closeout & Service Projects.
    • RAM support for Closeout (HVDC) Projects, as requested by CSL.
    • Interface with Sourcing & Procurement and suppliers associated with commercial offers for Spares.
    • Coordinate progress with PM’s to ensure quarterly forecast for transferring project between Live, Closeout not TECO & ECO to Close, as directed by CSL.
    • Support/Raise SPT process for raising of requisitions and follow up with Sourcing/Engineering departments.
    • Interface with R&D and Product management for Obsolescence.
    • Meet and greet of clients.

    Education and experience

    • HNC, Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering Discipline Experience.
    • Previous Project Management experience in the same or similar environment would be advantageous Specific Competencies.
    • Coordination of multiple projects as defined by the CSL.
    • Good understanding of at least one industry standard planning tool (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet.) Behavioral/Managerial Competencies.
    • Excellent people management and communication skills, able to think laterally. Challenge individuals against agreed tasks & schedules Languages.
    • Essential - English Business Understanding.
    • Good general understanding of the main business functions with commercial, contractual and financial awareness.
