Completing a placement year at Express Solicitors has helped me build my confidence in my personal and work life. You are taught many transferable skills such as the importance of effective communication, handling your own and others emotional intelligence and how to have an effective employee relation management. Completing a placement year has given me valuable hands on experience which will benefit me in my final year of studies and in my future job search.
About the role
You will be doing a wide number of tasks which include:
- Absence calls and absence list.
- Day to day administration task within the full employee lifecycle.
- Responding to employee day to day queries.
- Daily HR catchup team meeting.
- Supporting full onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Taking part in EDI projects.
Salary – £12.21 per hour.
Working Hours - 8:30am-5:30pm Monday -Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday.

- HR/Business Students on a sandwich placement.
- Available to start between June and September 2025.
