As a Graduate Trainee Company Secretary, you'll report into the Senior Assistant Company Secretary and support our corporate secretariat team. You'll play an important role, working to ensure our governance processes are compliant, efficient, and align with best practices. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in corporate governance while gaining experience in corporate law and listed company compliance matters.
Responsibilities could include:
- Corporate Governance Support: Help prepare board and committee meeting agendas, minutes, and documentation.
- Compliance Monitoring: Support in ensuring Experian's compliance with relevant corporate governance, legal, regulatory and stock exchange listing requirements and assisting with the implementation of necessary changes within the business.
- Company Secretarial Administration: Maintain minute books and statutory records, filing of annual returns, ensuring compliance with statutory filing obligations.
- Liaison with Partners: Work with internal senior leaders, external auditors, legal advisers, shareholder and share plan services providers and regulatory bodies.
We're looking for graduates who are driven and excited about progressing a career in corporate governance. You'll have an ability to collaborate and respond quickly to requests, take an organised approach to tasks and be comfortable working with a variety of people.
As part of this programme, you'll study towards your funded Chartered Governance Institute Professional accreditation (cgi.org.uk).

Qualifications
To be eligible to join this Graduate Programme, you'll need:
- A minimum 2:2 degree classification preferably in a related field (e.g. Law, Business, Finance). If you don't have a degree in those fields, that's ok, we'd love to hear from you.
- To have graduated within the last three years (2023, 2024 or 2025 graduates)
This role is based in our central Dublin office. Whilst we have adopted a hybrid way of working, you'll be in the office up to 3 days per week. Please only apply if this would be a suitable location for you. Some limited travel may be required between sites in the UK and Ireland.
