As part of the Commercial Graduate Program at Expedia Group, you’ll work on meaningful projects that innovate travel while being a part of a supportive culture of inclusivity and impact. We pave the route for our early careers talent to go far and fast, with accelerated career development. You’ll be immersed in a variety of different teams that stretch across Strategic Travel Partners, Lodging Account Management, Commercial Partnerships, and Media & Brand Partnerships teams. This immersive program will be conducted over two rotations, in which you’ll discover which part of travel technology excites you the most, before reaching your Destination Role with us.

 

About the graduate program:

  • Team Rotations: 2 rotations within different teams, to build knowledge across Expedia Group divisions. Contribute to meaningful work that makes a positive impact on travel, all while advancing your career  

  • Onboarding: 1-week training that covers professional skills, plus an introduction to Expedia Group  

  • Learning Series: communities, technology talks and regular workshops to build your technical and interpersonal skills  

  • Leadership Series: opportunities to ask questions directly to our leaders during events, and to learn about their career journeys  

  • Social Events and Networking: build your network with other Graduates on the program during regular socials and join our Inclusion Business Groups  

  • Support Network: mentorship from a dedicated structure of Buddies, Mentors, Managers, the Early Careers and the L&D teams

What you’ll do:

 

Account Management:

Develop and sustain strong partner relationships as a trusted advisor to drive revenue and partner engagement.  Grow and optimize an account portfolio focusing on the adoption of EG's full suite of products and tools.  Using a consultative approach to uncover the needs of an account and aligning the best solution to add value to the partner and the traveler.  Demonstrate the value of EG product solutions and advocate for opportunities internally with significant business impact.      

 

Business Development:

Responsible for contracting qualified leads for a territory to add new partners to the Expedia Platform. Uncovering partner needs by listening to partners and matching partners with the optimal bundle of available products and benefits to meet their needs. Closing deals, assuring delivery, and maintaining business relationships.

 

Partner Sales:

Maximizes territory revenue by developing new revenue‐producing partner relationships and retaining and expanding existing partnerships. Demonstrates the promised potential of new proposals and the delivered promise of past proposals. Functions as a trusted advisor.

  • Graduating in 2022 with a commercial or business-related degree (e.g., Business, Hospitality, Marketing, Economics)
