We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Accountant to join on a permanent basis at our Aberdeen facility in Dyce. The position reports to the A&C Finance Director and will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial data while gaining valuable exposure to operations. They will contribute to a smooth accounting & reporting operation whilst, at the same time, maintaining adherence to all company and Group procedures.
Job responsibilities
- The responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with monthly financial reporting including journals.
- Prepare and reconcile month end balance sheet accounts.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare analysis of operational performance such as product margins and overheads.
- Monthly compilation of key performance indicators for the facility.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive improvement.
- Assistance with Audit requests.
- Experience working with US facilities.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by the Finance Director and Operations Director.
Required skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and an eye toward continuous process improvement.
- Strong problem solving and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience
- Some experience in an accounting role preferred.
Education requirements
- Accountancy education desirable however tuition support will be provided.
