    This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and analytical graduate to join the Finance FP&A team at Equifax UK in Leeds. As a Finance FP&A Graduate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team with financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. You will gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing to the financial health and strategic decision-making of the business.

    What you’ll do

    • Financial Planning and Forecasting:
      • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and monthly forecasts.
      • Support the development and maintenance of financial models.
      • Contribute to variance analysis and identify key drivers of financial performance.
    • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
      • Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
      • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions.
      • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management.
      • Data Management and Analysis:
        • Collect, validate, and analyse financial data from various sources.
        • Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
        • Use financial systems and tools to generate reports and insights.
        • Process Improvement:
          • Identify opportunities to improve existing financial processes and procedures.
          • Assist in the implementation of process improvements.
          • General Support:
            • Provide support to the FP&A team on various projects and initiatives.
            • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes.

            What experience you need

            • A predicted or achieved 2:1 or above in a Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree.
            • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
            • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
            • Strong numerical and data analysis skills.
            • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred).
            • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
            • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
            • Strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
            • A strong desire to learn and develop within a finance environment.

            What could set you apart

            • Experience with financial planning and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
            • Knowledge of accounting principles.
            • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
            • Any work experience within a large corporate environment.
