What we are looking for

As Production Assistant, you will support the Production and Design Team to develop exciting new designs and products. You will liaise with suppliers globally and be responsible for tracking our progress through the development cycle. You are meticulously organised and enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously. You are a confident and creative individual, with a passion for ensuring our products are developed to the highest quality.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining key documents to track product creation, samples and production OTIF for each supplier
  • Communicating new design briefs to global suppliers and sharing team feedback during development
  • Liaising with suppliers weekly to ensure adherence to the Critical Path
  • Preparing the agendas and samples for weekly design meetings, and customer visits
  • Adopt the ‘Sample Librarian’ role, with full responsibility for all samples and lab dips, ensuring they are navigable for the wider team. Ensure any borrowed samples are logged in and out via a tracking system
  • Adding information to templates for all swing tags, packaging or labelling
  • Support the range plan and marketing lookbook documents for seasonal sign off meetings by adding up to date CADs and colourways
  • Assisting with QC on arrival for new SKUs
  • Supporting on product specs and tech packs
  • Sourcing and reporting competitive analysis reports via research or visits to stores on request from production/marketing teams
  • Developing excellent relationships with key internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Any other tasks or project work in the production remit

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience in a similar role, or study in a relevant field
  • Able to come into our Potters Bar (EN6) studio 4 times a week
  • Knowledge and interest in the fashion/accessories industry
  • Excited to work in a scale-up environment, with the ability to work to deadlines and thrive under pressure
  • Exceptional eye for detail, and a creative flare
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively on several projects simultaneously
  • Display a passion for the ethics and values of ES
