What you’ll do
The primary function of this role is to maintain, and where necessary develop, a robust and effective Quality Management System performing reviews of customer / industry / internal specifications to ensure processes meet / exceed requirements. This position will also be responsible for driving improvements in line with the Quality Leading Indicator (including Quality Best Practices) and Eaton Zero Defect Strategies.
Responsibilities
- Drive EZDP (Eaton Zero Defect Plan) initiative where required.
- Conduct internal audits i.a.w AS9100.
- Develop and maintain QMS in line with ISO9001 / AS9100 requirements.
- Develop and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare corrective action responses necessary.
- Host Customer / Regulatory Auditors as needed.
- Prepare and present material to customer representatives and / or facility employees as required.
- Provide technical support to both internal and external customers and suppliers as needed.
- Facilitate customer returns and the associated monthly reports.
- Develops process improvement and cost control programs throughout the plant.
- Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree (2:1) is preferable. Relevant practical experience shall be considered in lieu of formal Qualifications.
Skills
- No experience necessary, relevant placements will be favourable.
- Applies basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices to assigned tasks.
- Proficient in technical skill sets associated with areas of work.
- Pursues education/learning opportunities to fill knowledge gaps."
