About the business division
Our Corporate Finance business provides the full range of advisory and financing products and services of a leading global investment bank. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors.
We recognise that selecting the right investment banking partner can be the key to a company’s success. Our relationships are enhanced by industry sector, country and regional expertise, closely aligned to high-quality client solutions. We offer both buyside and sellside advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, restructuring advisory, debt and equity capital raising services and structured equity transactions. We are able to advise on innovative cross-border and regional transactions in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Division specifics about the graduate role
Upon joining the Bank you will begin your learning journey with our global orientation, followed by professional skills training and technical financial training.
During your first year with us you will benefit from a graduate learning journey, comprising both technical and professional skills training, further enhancing your learning experience.
You’ll work on projects that find new ways to help our clients reach their financial goals. Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on your role. But you might be modelling and forecasting a client’s financial statements, valuing a company, preparing marketing materials for a client pitch or for an equity or debt issue. Your learning curve will be steep as you get involved in current deals and interact with clients. But you’ll enjoy plenty of support from managers and mentors along with unparalleled global exposure.
You will be trained by the best, evolve professionally as well as personally, and build a firm foundation upon which to specialise later.

- Are you passionate about finance and have an affinity for numbers?
- Do you have an academic focus on business or the natural sciences, particularly business administration, economics, business mathematics or industrial engineering?
- Do you have experience in the banking industry or have you participated in activities that showcase your passion towards corporate finance?
- Have you already completed an internship or do you have experience in a field related to banking or the capital markets?
- Are you proficient in working with MS Office (eg excel) and common applications?
