The Assistant Maintenance & Building Surveyor is a varied role, engaging in a rage of tasks including, conducting inspections, diagnosing defects, and preparing reports and costing. The opportunity
In the role of Assistant Maintenance & Building Surveyor, here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
Ensuring the safety and functionality of a diverse portfolio of properties, contributing to their essential maintenance and management.
Engaging in tasks such as conducting inspections, diagnosing defects, and recommending necessary repairs and Improvements. Managing projects, budgets and resources efficiently, providing expert advice.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- Experience of Construction and Maintenance
- Knowledge and application of the most resent standards for asset management for example ISO55000 and BS 8544
- Proven delivery of minor and major building works on a range of projects, for example, conversions, refurbishments, new builds, demolitions, routine repairs, planned preventative maintenance.
- Practice in the preparation, scrutineering and auditing of: contracts, specifications, drawing, diagrams, calculations
- Experience of managing and ensuring building compliance
- A minimum of a university degree relevant to Building Engineering and Surveying.
