The DeepOcean Project Engineer Summer Internship scheme is a fantastic opportunity for Engineering students graduating in 2026 to gain valuable experience in the subsea sector working within oil and gas, offshore renewables, and other non-energy niches. This 8-week internship is based in the DeepOcean office within the Prime Four Industrial Estate in Kingswells, Aberdeen. This is a full-time role that requires the successful candidate(s) to work 5 days in the office, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
Duties & responsibilites
- Technical support & assistance on live projects.
- Data collection & analysis.
- Attendance at vessel & subcontractor site visits.
- Complete an individual assignment contributing to departmental improvement initiatives.
Education / qualifications
- Working towards Higher Education Degree/Master/Bachelor (or equivalent) in relevant engineering subject.
- Degree must be accredited by Engineering Council.
- Set to Graduate in 2026.
