We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join our commercially savvy Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Financial Management Analysis and Planning
- Responsible for financial management of a department including oversight of revenue recognition, financial reporting and forecasting
- Review monthly fee detail
- Facilitation of client billing, financial analysis and reporting for individual projects
Revenue recognition
- Review and approve sourcing department’s service orders (with oversight)
- Calculate and track monthly revenues based on active contracts and client billings
- Ad hoc fee reconciliation
- Billing/Cash Flow Management
- Review write-off’s in MTR
- Assist project managers with MTR review
- Ensure timely submission of invoices and supporting documentation to client
- Provide comments for any outstanding AR issues
Project resource mgt
- Process purchase orders upon request
- Run financial queries upon staff request
- Provide time and expense details to PM’s as incurred on project(s)
- Review missing time reports weekly and follow up with delinquencies
People development
- Engage in team building activities
- Train account staff on internal finance systems, procedures and financial project management
- Ensure performance expectations, career development plan and SMART goals are set and reviewed annually during the formal performance review process for all direct reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or the equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Client service oriented
- Well organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail, follows through on multiple projects and juggle conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must take initiative and is a self-starter
