A Logistics & Warehouse Graduate in Dale Farm is an excellent opportunity to experience working with a broad range of internal stakeholders in one of Northern Ireland’s leading dairy manufacturing companies.

About the role

The role will initially support the day-to-day production planning, stock control and reconciliation with a view to process improving the flows of product and information from customer demand through production to distribution on site and across the business from a wider Group perspective.

In addition to this continuous improvement work you will gain experience to be able to act as a back up to the Production Planner. You will be tasked to be involved in the following activities:

  • Support the Production Planner in monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely deliveries and that shipping, customs and country requirements are met.
  • Analyse stock movements, assist in the investigation and reconciliation of stock variances and develop reporting tools supporting existing processes.
  • Communicate production planning goals and objectives to key stakeholders.
  • Identify, highlight and support resolution of planning issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and provide support for the implementation of comprehensive production planning tools, including warehouse management system, budget tracking and resource allocation.
  • Support the Group Production Planner with Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Provide support to team members across the Ash Manor site
  • Provide flexibility in supporting other functions on site and the wider Group as and when required

This is a challenging role, and we are looking for energetic and enthusiastic applicants who are able to work reliably on their own initiative and hold a Business related degree.

Applicants must have excellent administration and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to plan and work with flexibility to meet deadlines. You should hold a clean current driving licence and have ideally have access to your own transport. The successful applicant should also be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in relation to formulas within Excel
