Dale Farm Cooperative is a UK dairy farmer co-operative owned by over 1200 dairy farmers who supply us with fresh milk. Dale Farm has operations throughout the UK and Ireland producing and distributing a wide range of dairy products which it sells across the UK and Ireland as well as exporting to over 45 countries worldwide.

Dale Farm is the largest UK farmer-owned cooperative, owned by 1,300 UK farmers. We supply a wide range of consumer and food ingredients dairy products including fresh milk, cheeses, milk powders, butter & dairy spreads, and ice cream into the UK, Irish and international markets.

Core to our success is our people, and we now have an exciting opportunity within our Commercial team, based at our Head Office in Belfast.

About the role

As a Commercial Graduate you will be a key member of our Ice Cream team, reporting into our National Account Manager for the retail channel. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of Northern Ireland’s leading brands in a B2B facing role. This role will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring pricing and promotion mechanics are implemented for nominated key accounts in the retail channel.
  • Co-ordinating customer queries & new leads with the sales team.
  • Representing DF Ice Cream at customer tradeshows and events.
  • Production forecasting and facilitating the annual budget setting by customer
  • Analysing sales data to identify developing trends.
  • General admin tasks relating to the commercial function.

About you

The essential

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a degree in a business-related subject (business, economics, marketing) and be available to start this role from December 2024/January 2025.
  • Be organised, proactive and hardworking, with a can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills to join our team.
  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative, be flexible and adaptable with a desire to learn and develop.
  • You should hold a clean current driving licence and have access to your own transport.

The desirable

  • Ideally you will have at least one year’s experience in an FMCG role or placement year, with strong knowledge of excel, strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
