We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to join our dynamic audit team. As an Audit Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the completion of client audits under the supervision of an Audit Senior or Semi Senior.
You will actively work towards a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) while gaining experience in the auditing field. In this role, you will also develop a solid understanding of auditing standards, accounting practices, and the tools used within the firm’s audit processes.

Key responsibilities
- You will carry out client audit work under the direction of the Audit Senior or Semi Senior, adhering to the firm’s audit approach and methodology.
- Throughout the audit process, you will investigate any problems or discrepancies that arise and resolve them with the support of the Audit Senior or Semi Senior.
- As part of the role, you will gain an understanding of the client’s internal reporting and control procedures, contributing effectively to the audit process.
- Additionally, you will develop experience in preparing and developing audit working papers, following the firm’s approach and maintaining proper documentation. If anything is unclear or inconsistent with expectations, you will raise those concerns to the Audit Senior or Semi Senior for further guidance.
- You will also be expected to provide general support to other members of the audit team as needed, assisting with various tasks to ensure successful and efficient audit completion.
- We require strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work methodically and manage time effectively. A willingness to learn and develop your audit skills is essential, and prior experience or internships in auditing or accounting would be beneficial but not mandatory.
Skills, knowledge and expertise
- Degree educated to 2.1 minimum.
- A keen interest in pursuing a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- A proactive attitude toward learning and career development.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles is advantageous, but not essential.
- Prior experience in audit or accounting would be beneficial.
