We are looking for an enthusiastic Bids & BD Executive to support on our bids and BD activity, generating business growth within the DAC Beachcroft Claims Solutions Group.
The ideal candidate will be diligent, hard-working, and able to work through tasks quickly in a team environment to meet the required timescales.

What you will do
You will support our busy bids and BD activity, including assisting on larger bids and taking sole responsibility for delivering standard questionnaires and proactive capability documents. You will also play a key role in the continuous improvement of our bids and BD processes.
Your key responsibilities will be to
- Support the team on major bids, forming part of the bid project team and carrying out tasks allocated to you.
- Produce Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Due Diligence Questionnaires, engaging with colleagues across the business as appropriate.
- Take full responsibility for producing proactive capability documents.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate record of incoming bids and current bids and BD opportunities. This will include preparing detailed reports on a monthly basis for the Executive.
- Update and maintain our business development collateral.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of client specific internal workshops and bid preparation workshops.
- Proofread and format bids and BD documents, in line with our style guide.
- Support the Bids & BD Managers in complying with internal risk management procedures and conflict checking processes.
- Handle confidential information in line with the firm's data security protocols.
Who you are
- Demonstrate a keen interest in professional bid and business development skills and activities.

- Bring a desire to learn, challenge and contribute your own ideas to our thinking.
- Have experience of preparing Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Due Diligence Questionnaires.
- Understand project management techniques and be experienced in creating and managing project plans.
- Have strong English language, writing, proofreading and editing skills, and the ability to adapt style to different audiences and channels.
- Have an excellent focus on attention to detail.
- Have experience of managing multiple tasks and concurrent deadlines.
- Have good communication skills and be able to build relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Have experience of taking comprehensive and accurate meeting notes.
- Have a knowledge of general design principles, including layout, format, creation, and manipulation of graphics and colour usage.
