The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR People Services Administrator to join our team. This will be a great opportunity for someone looking to get into a career in HR. You will be responsible for supporting the business in all HR Shared Services administration including HR and payroll related queries, policy and legislation updates, onboarding and set up of new starters. The HR People Services Administrator will provide first class advice and service to all colleagues across the Highbourne Group. As an HR People Services Administrator, your expertise will be vital in ensuring our colleagues have a primary point of contact & resolution support in everything they need!
You’ll be supported by a friendly and fabulous People team who are committed to putting our colleagues at the heart of everything we do.
This role is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week (Wednesday and Thursday) in our Head Office in Crick, Northampton.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver quick, accurate and friendly colleague support to all roles, levels and functions across all Highbourne Group businesses. This could be ‘online’ support via the phone, email, portal or chat, or alternatively ‘offline’ support through the processing of transactions in our various systems
- Provide a high level of customer service to our colleagues, continuously looking for opportunities to improve the service and people experience provided
- Provide an excellent administration service for all People related matters
- Adapt communication style to the needs of the audience and look for opportunities to coach our colleagues to improve their capability and confidence
- Professionally deal with confidential information and discuss sensitive issues confidentially; adhere to data protection legislation
This role is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days a week in our Head Office in Crick, Northampton.

Skills and competencies
- Ideally some experience in Customer services and resolving queries
- Comfortable with handling difficult conversations

- Computer literate - google docs and google sheets knowledge a bonus!
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Tenacious and excellent approach to customer service
