Overview
The Worshipful Company of Insurers (WCI) and Bayes Business School have established a scholarship scheme for students taking the MSc in Insurance and Risk Management at Bayes Business School. Under the scheme, two students will have their tuition fees paid in full.
Scholars are expected to be drawn from areas of the UK considered to be relatively lacking in opportunity and they must also be able to demonstrate financial need.
Value
Two scholarships, covering full tuition fees
Criteria
Eligible courses: MSc Insurance and Risk Management (September start only. Applicants to the part-time course may be considered if they are not working in the Insurance industry at the time of application)
Geographical Requirements
Permanent residents of the UK
Academic Requirements
Must be able to demonstrate academic excellence
Financial Need
Must be able to demonstrate financial need
Please submit an initial scholarship application to Bayes Business School through this application form. Eligible applicants will then be forwarded to the WCI for review, and further information (including details of your financial background) may be requested by the WCI at that stage. Decisions are normally made on a rolling basis, and an early application is therefore strongly encouraged.
Ideally, you should already hold an offer on MSc Insurance and Risk Management before applying for the scholarship, but we will also accept initial scholarship applications from prospective applicants who have not yet applied for the degree. In this latter case, if an applicant is shortlisted for the scholarship by the WCI, they must then submit a satisfactory course application and receive an offer on MSc Insurance and Risk Management before the scholarship can be confirmed.
Applications may close early should the scholarships be successfully awarded.
