Children’s Hospice South West is seeking cover for maternity leave, this post will work at Little Bridge House providing Human Resources (HR) support to our Care, Fundraising and Retail teams.
The role
Depending on experience, we are able to offer this post as a HR Assistant or a HR Administration Assistant.
This diverse role provides the full range of HR office administration, recruitment, induction and training for new employees and volunteers. In the HR Assistant role you will also provide first line HR support to our Managers and Staff and supports our volunteers and opportunities to support HR casework (note taking), assisting in training events and assessment days.
About you
You will have strong communication and organisational skills and have experience of working in a busy multi-tasking administrative role where attention to detail and meeting deadlines was a key part of the role. For the HR Assistant post, a working background in an HR/Recruitment environment is essential and a CIPD qualification would be advantageous. For both posts strong IT skills are essential including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience of using databases and editing websites would also be advantageous.
