Cheshire Wildlife Trust is offering a funded trainee role designed to equip a budding conservationist with the skills, knowledge, and real-world experience needed to thrive in the sector.
The role
This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on insight into the vital work we do to bring wildlife back and restore nature at scale across the region.
As a Living Landscape Trainee, you’ll work alongside our expert Nature Recovery team across our network of reserves and third-party sites, delivering a wide range of conservation tasks—from habitat management and creation works, to species monitoring and access improvement works.
You’ll also contribute to projects such as developing our wildflower and tree nursery at Bickley Hall Farm, supporting volunteer groups, and helping to gather essential ecological data. This is a practical, varied, and impactful role that puts you at the heart of our mission to create a Wilder Cheshire.
