The role

The R&D Scientist, will assist senior team members with technical solutions relating to the testing of Automotive and Industrial Lubricants. The role will be mainly Lab based involved in different testing techniques, but will also support interactions with clients and prospective customers, to help them understand how the Cargill can provide solutions for them and improve profitability.
Key accountabilities
- The use of different testing techniques for Automotive and Industrial Lubricants
- Assist more senior team members to establish and cultivate effective partnerships with customers to maintain existing business and gain new ones
- Assist with commercial prospecting and anticipate technological developments led by more senior team members
- Support sales efforts to understand and solve customer issues
- Support strategic marketing technology, product safety, quality and regulatory to develop and proof new products
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Chemistry or similar (for example Materials Science) and equivalent relevant Laboratory experience involved in the testing of products
- Experience with Lubricants testing is advantageous but not required
