Capita Entrust is a partner to over 6,000 schools and Multi Academy Trusts across the UK, working together to make it easier for educators to educate and inspire futures.
Part of our work includes providing schools and academies with a full range of design, development, master planning and project management services for projects of any scale – from repurposing, refurbishing or updating existing facilities to new development schemes and complete rebuilds.
We are seeking a Trainee Land Surveyor and CAD Technician to join our team based in Stafford. This role will involve travel.
What you'll be doing
- Day to day delivery of professional and technical development and surveying consultancy under direct supervision
- Regular travel to schools and multi academy trusts to create CAD plans and attend meetings.
- Undertaking topological and measured surveys of land and buildings utilising appropriate equipment and computer software including drones, 3D Printing and CAD.
- Working autonomously as well as alongside teams of Architects and the wider design Team including opportunities to support the Architectural design team
What we're looking for?
- An enthusiastic individual with a passion for developing a career in the built environment
- Experience in using CAD and/or Autodesk Revit is desired, but not essential as can be trained on the job.
- Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines.
- A committed attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced industry.
- Pride and passion for high quality survey work and customer service.
Confident communicator, able to present articulately at client on-site meetings where required. - A full UK Drivers Licence
