    The role

    We are looking for a Junior Credit Controller to join as a member of our rapidly growing Finance department. This is an entry level role suitable for someone interested in making their first step in an office based environment. You will be joining a dynamic and talented team who are dedicated to your education and personal development. Working within our growing Finance team, you'll be working hybrid from our Cambridge office, 2 days a week.

    This role will have a commencement start date in June.

    As the credit controller you will be allocated a region where you will be the owner and driver of credit control matters. You will work closely within the credit control team and alongside finance, sales & operational colleagues to ensure good credit control objectives while maintaining customer relationships. Full training will be provided.

    • Maintaining a generous monthly Ledger ensuring chasing by email/phone and escalations are processed in a timely manner,
    • Helping to monitor trackers related to cash collection,
    • Maintaining Debtors spreadsheets,
    • Assisting with the Credit Control Inbox ensuring all emails are dealt with in a timely manner.

    Darktrace warmly welcomes applications from candidates who enjoy working with numbers and have excellent customer service skills. Experience working in an office based environment or within a Finance team is useful but not essential for this role. You will interact with people across the business and have multiple priorities at one time, so you will need to be a good communicator and have superb time management skills, excellent attention to detail and self-motivation.
