The initial 2 years of the role will provide the opportunity to experience different aspects of the planning and resource functions. You will work in a directorate that has a direct impact on the British Airways operation. You will learn and apply new skills in subjects such as:
- Workforce planning and deployment
- Post operational analysis
- Stakeholder relationship management
- People and change management
- Continuous improvement
These placements will develop your ability to work with a range of people from different business areas, using a variety of technologies, methods, and measures to meet changing business needs. You will do this alongside building your experience of working with highly skilled resource teams and the resource systems they use.
About you
We are looking for a minimum of a 2:2 degree, or equivalent, in any subject (either achieved or expected), ideally in an area involving numbers and analysis. You should enjoy creative and strategic thinking, and be comfortable handling data, whilst being able to translate and tailor your findings to different audiences. Your numerical competence combined with a passion for finding data led solutions will support your drive for sourcing efficiencies whilst being impact conscious. Alongside an analytical nature, you should feel comfortable working and influencing colleagues with differing skillsets from different departments.
