Over the course of this 11-month Programme, you’ll develop an enviable set of skills through exposure to different business areas, and involvement on various significant projects.
We’re open to your fresh ideas and different perspectives. You’ll be asked to challenge our current thinking and look for ways to improve on existing processes – you could genuinely make us work faster, and smarter.
Your Placement will refine your business skills and commercial thinking and offer you a chance to impact our business performance. Which live projects you work on is very much up to your interests, and the skills you bring with you.
You’ll have the chance to work with colleagues at all levels, from recent Graduates to Senior Leaders. This Placement is all about making things happen through working with others. At the same time, you’ll get to build networks with both our Business Placement and Graduate communities.

Your placement and the experiences it offers are set to inspire you. But inspiration is just the start of what we offer. Your 11 months with us will develop you into a more rounded person, and business professional. The focus is identifying areas for skills and behaviour improvement and then proactively working on these. You’ll even be expected to take ownership of your own development (it’s excellent preparation for your future career).
About you
You’re welcome to apply if you’re a second-year student who’s undertaking an Industrial Placement in your third year as part of your degree (any discipline). We’re looking for ambitious students who think strategically and creatively, and those who want to push their career forward on this development opportunity.
Your placement will take place in London Heathrow as part of our Future Leader programme, or in Barry, Cardiff as part of our British Airways Engineering Wales programme.
