    As we grow and scale, we’re looking for an Events Marketing Intern to join our fast-paced Events Team over the summer months to support on a number of our fantastic events!  

    The role

    As an Events Marketing Intern, you’ll join a supportive and collaborative Events Team. The team has two arms, and you’ll be working directly with the Events Marketing team members on a wide range of projects & responsibilities. We’re an all-hands-on-deck team, so you’ll also get the chance to collaborate with the Event Managers and other interns to support with delivery tasks when needed.  

    The ideal candidate will be a university student or recent graduate looking for a full-time, fully-paid summer internship from May – September 2025 (a delayed start date of early June may be possible for the right candidate). This is a prime opportunity to get some fantastic exposure to a fast-paced events team!  

    Specifically, you will

    • Support the Events Marketing team in creating digital event marketing campaigns to drive event applications   
    • Assist with social media strategy and the creation and development of relevant content for the Bright Network website and social media accounts (namely Instagram and TikTok)  
    • Review and proof-read digital and print marketing materials to ensure high-quality content is communicated to our members  
    • Create and execute the social media strategy for upcoming events  
    • Assist with end-to-end event management of our current portfolio of events, including supporting with on-the-day delivery at events  
    • Assist with post-event analysis and return on investment reporting  
    • Support with community management – including managing pre-event online community groups (LinkedIn and potentially a new platform TBC) and Student Leadership Boards

    • You can demonstrate a passion for marketing through your extra-curricular involvement or prior relevant work experience  
    • You’re able to use your initiative, creativity, organised and collaborative nature to deliver at pace 
    • You pride yourself on your meticulous attention to detail, punctuality, time management and strong written and verbal communication skills 
    • You're a proficient user of social media and would enjoy the opportunity to create content (including being on camera and interviewing students) using tools like TikTok, Instagram, CapCut and Canva 
    • You are at university/have already graduated and are available to undertake a full-time, paid internship this summer from May to September (a delayed start date of early June may be possible for the right candidate).
    • You’re willing to travel into central London for our in-person events (occasionally outside of normal working hours, particularly during peak events delivery season) and work in the office a minimum of 3 days a week. You’re comfortable with flexibility on when you come into the office and timings.

    • Salary: £25,000  (pro-rated) 
    • Dates: 26th May – 26th September 2025 (we can be flexible for an early June start/mid-September end based on your academic year if needed)  
    • Location: Hybrid – London, Liverpool Street  
    • Reporting to: Senior Events Marketing Executive

    • Bright Network annual offsite – Tuesday 29th – Wednesday 30th July. This is an overnight, expenses-paid trip where you will be able to collaborate with the wider team!

    Application & Interview process

    • Initial 30-minute Zoom call with our Internal Talent Partner  
    • 1st round: 45-minute interview with a member of our Events Team  
    • 2nd round: 75-minute combined presentation & values interview  
    • Final round: Final interview with our Business Leadership and Events Director
