Responsibilities 

  • Compiling media reports, draft briefing notes, communications plans, talking points, Q&A, media pitches and speaking notes for Blackstone’s MD for real estate comms and senior executives in real estate
  • Working with Blackstone real estate teams on transaction communications
  • Helping to implement strategic communications plans for real estate
  • Developing knowledge of Blackstone’s real estate business, products, and competitors
  • Identifying external event and award opportunities for Blackstone and its portfolio companies
  • Support in identifying media opportunities and responding to media enquiries
  • Building media relationships for yourself and senior Blackstone executives (particularly trade media).
  • Researching, editing, and proofreading media materials
  • Working with vendors on special projects such as content creation for marketing purposes.

Qualifications

  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task in dynamic and challenging situations
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team as well as taking individual responsibility
  • Ability to understand and write clearly about a wide range of technical subjects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (including PowerPoint, emphasis on Outlook and Excel)

Desirable

  • Knowledge of/or experience in a financial service focused communications role
  • Second European language a plus
