We are currently seeking a Evaluation Research Assistant to undertake evaluative research under the instruction of the Principal Investigator and support any staff and students who may be assisting with the research.

About the role

As our Evaluation Research Assistant, you will conduct research using appropriate methods, contributing to reports and publications, and collaborating with both internal colleagues and external contacts. You will provide guidance to students involved in the project, attend relevant meetings, and ensure compliance with ethics and academic integrity standards.

You will also take responsibility for developing research methods within the project and contribute to its overall success. In addition, you will take responsibility for developing research methods and techniques within the framework of the research programme.

About you

You will have a strong academic background and a good first degree in a relevant discipline. You will have proven research experience, extensive knowledge in their area of specialism, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.

Strong problem-solving, ICT, and data management abilities are essential, along with a commitment to contributing to the research environment. Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward change, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are key qualities of the role.

This post is available on both a full time and a job share basis.

Depending upon the research project this role may be subject to Criminal Records Bureau disclosure.
