We currently have an exciting opportunity to help us move the Bassetlaw Local Plan towards adoption later this year.

The role

Situated in North Nottinghamshire, Bassetlaw is a large and diverse urban/rural district which continues to experience a large amount of development and change. This post will play an important contribution in implementing our ambitious Plan, as well as helping to regenerate our town centres and in the long term progress the innovative and nationally important STEP nuclear fusion project.

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who already have some planning experience, but also for recent planning graduates who are looking to take the next step in their career.

You will be joining a small, friendly team, with a range of expertise and a willingness to share tasks and work collaboratively. We pride ourselves on our supportive environment and have an excellent track record of mentoring colleagues wishing to join the RTPI.

About you

If you have, or are working towards, a relevant degree in town planning and have a positive and enthusiastic outlook, excellent communication skills and a desire to solve problems, we would love to hear from you.
