Job Summary
The Corporate Treasury team is seeking an Analyst / Associate to assist with daily, weekly and monthly cash and Treasury processes, reporting and analysis.
Primary Responsibilities
- Daily upload, posting, reconciliation and clearing of bank accounts and investment transactions
- Support client income team and others to assist in identifying and applying cash daily and ensure unapplied cash is cleared from suspense accounts each day
- Assist Accounts Payable team with questions regarding returned or outstanding items
- Process daily electronic payments
- Optimize cash management and short-term investments across the European hierarchy and work with US Treasury team to perform currency conversions as needed
- Prepare weekly cash flow roll forward (cause of change) required for internal reporting
- Monthly close postings and bank account reconciliations
- Monthly review and reporting of cash and investment positions and activity
- Assist with accounting for GILT Investment portfolio monthly
- Support the development of the short-term cash forecast process. Work with forecast team to ensure data accuracy and perform actual vs. forecast analysis for continued improvement.
- Annual FBAR (Foreign Bank Account Reporting) process
- Provide financial audit support and prepare materials for Committee meetings
- Provide analytical support across various treasury functions/special projects as needed
- Project support of newly acquired or merged entities from a cash management perspective (collects KYC documents, acquire general ledger account numbers, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 0-3 years’ experience
- Degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem solving, & planning skills
- Demonstrative collaborative skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Organized – able to manage multiple tasks/topics simultaneously
- Ability to drive projects to completion and coordinate resources
- Self-starter – require minimal supervision
- Workday experience (preferred)
