The chance to make an impact
As an Analyst, you’ll develop specialist expertise as a banker, there are several teams that specialise in different areas – including equity and debt origination, loans, structuring, risk management and syndication. You’ll get a unique insight into our work from colleagues across Barclays, and take on your own projects with our full support. You’ll start with intensive training focused on developing skills in a particular area. You’ll also:
- work on live deals and deal proposals
- prepare new business presentations
- learn the art of executing transactions

- participate in formal and informal training designed to give you the knowledge you need when you need it
- receive detailed performance coaching and feedback
- have opportunities to expand your network and develop leadership skills.
To be considered for this programme, you must:
- be motivated with a strong degree or expected degree – in any area.
Ideally, you would also have:
- a strong interest in business and finance, though no specific subject degree is required
- a strong work ethic and be keen to learn and develop your skill set, allowing you to deliver the best product to our clients
