This four-to-five year programme will give you exposure to different Actuarial teams, from Healthcare Reporting to Data Science and Digital. From reporting to pricing, from valuations to solvency, and from data to digital, our actuaries have a big say in everything we do. So if you’re a natural problem-solver and you’d love to be an important part of an important company, you’ll find this an extremely empowering place to be.
On average, you’ll spend between four and five years on the programme, during which time you’ll move to a different actuarial team every 18 months or so. These teams cover everything from Healthcare Reporting to Data Science and Digital.
Along the way, it’s you’ll work towards your IFoA qualifications so by the end of the scheme you'll be a fully-qualified actuary.

What we’re looking for
- You'll either have a degree, in a numerical or STEM-related subject, or be on track to graduate by the end of Summer 2025.
- An analytical mind and talent for problem solving.
- An eagerness to develop your commercial mind.

Where could you be based?
Our Actuarial opportunities are based in York, Bristol, Norwich, and Eastleigh: all buzzing places in which to launch your career. Not all role types are available in every location, so tell us on your application if you have a preference. It’s important that you live within commuting distance of the office where the role is based, or be willing to relocate prior to start date as you’ll need to spend time with your team in person, as well as virtually, working from home. Three days in the office and two days from home is typical, but this will vary between teams.
