We are currently seeking a motivated Paralegal to join our Plot Sales team in the Real Estate department based in our Exeter office, on a full time and permanent basis.

    The role

Our clients include well known regional and national developers, and in this role you will be dealing with sale transactions from initial instruction through to completion.

You will be preparing contracts, TP1s and leases from standard precedents, chasing updates together with reporting to clients to progress matters to the point of exchange, as well as dealing with Land Registry applications and working closely with the Fee Earners in the Plot Sales team.

In this role, you’ll be given high levels of responsibility from the outset, meaning you’ll get exposure to quality work, providing a foundation for you to continue progressing your legal career.

    Who you are

Ideally with some previous experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role, you will have shown your ability to research and learn quickly from a variety of sources.

With a clear dedication to a career in law, you’ll be considered self-motivated and a good communicator, with an eagerness to learn. You’ll be known as a strong team player, with an ability to work with colleagues to provide them with the support they need in order to deliver great client service.

You will readily understand and relate to clients' needs and be able to cope with pressures associated with handling multiple caseloads. Furthermore, you will be a quick learner, and have excellent IT skills, being meticulous and thorough in order to deliver high quality work.
