The co-ordination of product samples is an integral part of supporting the brand team to deliver our ambition. Working closely between the Brand and Trading teams you will be responsible for ensuring all samples are handed over, checked in and delivered on time. Then this is an exciting opportunity to join the George fashion Brand Marketing team.
What you'll do
- Oversee the end-to-end process and co-ordination of all clothing marketing samples including, sample room management, sample ordering process, and sample tracking.
- Work in direct collaboration with the clothing brand marketing team to understand hero product nominations to deliver the brand marketing and brand channel strategies, and seasonal campaigns
- A key stakeholder in the brand marketing selection process alongside the brand marketing assistant, you will have a pointed focus on identifying, collating and tracking sample nominations for PR, Social and CRM teams.
- Own the creation of clear and concise sample order request packs for trading teams, and sample inventory tracking to always ensure full visibility of sample locations.
- Responsible for coordinating and use of samples across multiple marketing teams within brand at any one time, e.g., Campaign, Social, and PR etc.
- Ensure samples are ordered and received from trading, DC, or dot com, packed ahead of all productions and delivered as per critical path and process.
- Single point of contact for samples across multiple George teams , you will hold a holistic view of all marketing nominations through the coordination of lines list and packs to support clear engagement and delivery.
- Clear understanding of connecting process and ways of working that impact delivery of the role
- Undertakes administrative tasks to ensure sample packing, courier delivery, and documents are executed right first time.
Lets find out about you
- Experience in marketing or campaign shoot production role is preferable but not essential
- Experience of managing samples, in fashion or general merchandise/home
- You'll preferably have experience of working in fashion retail
- Agile, flexible, open to change and with a test-and-learn mindset, comfortable working at pace.
- Self-starter, happy taking accountability and creative in problem solving.
- Confident, inclusive and engaging in communication
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to priorities and multi-task
