The opportunity
Arup's managed clients programme is a strategic driver of excellence, enabling our relationship teams to transform client challenges into new opportunities while driving higher levels of satisfaction and long-term, purposeful relationships. The programme supports our work with Arup's key clients, enabling our client teams to develop meaningful relationships that lead to lasting partnerships and strong commercial outcomes.
This programme requires dedicated project management to ensure its ongoing success and continuous improvement.
This graduate role supports the delivery and coordination of initiatives across the global managed client's programme. The project manager will report to the global clients lead and will provide project management support to deliver the goals and objectives of the programme.
This role is highly varied and provides the opportunity to work on a global scale, supporting a range of activities relating to best practice relationship management and client-centric initiatives. The successful candidate will work with diverse teams, including client-facing leaders, and will build relationships at all levels, helping to implement impactful client-focused strategies.
Location: London, but other UK locations would be considered.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting the global client programme leader in the development and management of the programme workplan and initiatives, including tracking milestones and monitoring progress.
- Assisting in fostering a client-centric culture by supporting initiatives that promote collaboration, empathy, and alignment with client goals throughout the firm.
- Supporting improved use of CRM and other client systems by client teams to optimise the managed clients programme. This will include collaborating with the client systems team to analyse data, improve integration, support training sessions for client-facing teams, and enhance the usability of client dashboards.
- Coordinating with global teams to support the delivery of the programme's client-centric initiatives in line with programme objectives.
- Providing administrative support, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, AI-enabled note taking, and follow up on action items.
- Managing small-scale programme projects independently, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Maintaining and updating the global clients hub on SharePoint, including filing structures, updating documents, and ensuring content is well-organised and accessible to all members.
- Acting as a key liaison for regional managed client programme leads, helping to integrate initiatives into the business.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external clients, and partners to foster collaboration and alignment.
- Supporting the monitoring and reporting on Arup managed clients, including preparation of the quarterly performance reports.
- Contributing to process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the programme.
Is this role right for you?
For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, knowledge, skills and attributes:
- Degree-level qualification (any discipline welcome, but project management, business, or related fields are advantageous).
- Demonstrated interest in project management and client engagement and willingness to learn and develop project management skills further, including the adoption of new tools and methodologies.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to work.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented behaviours, supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills. English as a first language is not a requirement.
- Flexibility , with an ability to work across multiple projects and teams.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
