At Armstrong Watson LLP, we are committed to nurturing young talent and shaping the next generation of accountants. Through our Summer Internship Programme, we aim to offer invaluable insights, mentorship, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
We are offering Summer Internships for individuals who are currently studying at University, and are passionate about pursuing a career in Accounting. We have opportunities to join us in our Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, and Carlisle offices.
Primarily spending time within our Audit & Assurance service line, you will have the chance to work alongside seasoned professionals, immersing yourself in various aspects of the firm. This hands-on exposure will allow you to develop your technical skills, acquire practical knowledge, and actively participate in client engagements. With the guidance and support of experienced mentors, you will receive valuable feedback to enhance your career development.
You will have the chance to work with a variety of clients. Not only will this broaden your understanding of the industry, but it will also help you build a versatile skill set. Additionally, you will have numerous opportunities to network with professionals, including partners, managers, and fellow interns. These connections can be invaluable as you embark on your academic and professional journey, providing a solid foundation for future career growth.

All candidates must meet the following criteria points:
- Hold at least 7 GCSE's at Grad 5 (C) or above (including Maths, English and at least one Science) or a minimum of 6 National Fives (including Maths, English and at least one Science) at Grade C or above.
- Possess a minimum of 96 UCAS points (obtained at A Level or BTEC Level 3+)
- Be predicted to achieve a 2:1 degree or above in any discipline.
- Holding a full UK driving licence and having access to a vehicle is also advantageous.
