Internship Description

Our internships give you the opportunity to apply your skills and accelerate your learning from day one. As an Intern, you will be given an insight into one of our projects and work alongside technical experts, learning new skills and gaining new experiences. Technical experience is key in our sector, which is why we will provide you with the experience you require to enhance your studies and kick start your career. Our internships last typically between 8 to 12 weeks and you’ll be working in our: Civil engineering team.
Civil Engineering – As part of our civil engineering community, you will work across a range of disciplines including highways, rail, structures and water management. Our work varies and covers projects of all scales across the disciplines. This is an opportunity for you to grow your skills and ability in the delivery of sustainable solutions. The work will potentially involve some site work visits and inspections.
- Accepted degrees: Bachelors/Masters in Civil, Structural, Environmental or Geotechnical Engineering.
Qualifications & Experience
- Studying towards a related degree
- You will enjoy working in a team environment and have the confidence to work under pressure
- You will be innovative & creative
- Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity
- Be a strategic and analytical thinker
- Excellent communication skills, and technical knowledge appropriate for the area you are applying to
- Relevant work experience through internships would be advantageous
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
