We are looking for a talented Marketing and Events Co-ordinator to join our wider Marketing, Business Development and Communications team, to support the business across our offices in Manchester, Leeds, Halifax, and Cambridge.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager – Events, Sponsorship & Business Development and the Marketing Manager – Content & Digital, contributing across all firm led and third party events, CRM, email marketing and social media, playing a key part in projects and programmes that make a real impact on the commercial success of the firm.
Key responsibilities
Events & Business Development- Act as the primary events co-ordinator for all external firm-run events from start to finish
- Attend firm-run events to act as on-site support
- Be the go-to contact for event logistics and admin support – working with everyone from trainees to partners
- Source and procure giveaways; work with our designer to create and transport events collateral for all events including third-party events we attend / sponsor
- Assist with event follow-on admin activities including HubSpot data entry
- Maintain the annual events calendar
- Take responsibility for updating website content and coordinating social media activity connected to event attendance and promotion
- Support the Content and Digital Marketing Manager with maintaining HubSpot mailing lists, managing workflows, gathering performance data and delivering content through the platform
Skills, knowledge and expertise
- Previous experience within a similar role, gained within a law firm or professional services environment
- Detail-oriented and well-organised with the ability to understand wider commercial and marketing goals
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing obligations
- Articulate, confident, and commercially minded
- Self-motivated, able to work without supervision and to take responsibility as appropriate
- Willingness to travel to other offices and events when needed
Desirable
- A Degree in Marketing (or related field)
- Knowledge of HubSpot, SharePoint, WordPress and / or other content management platforms
