Camarco London is growing and fresh off the back of our recent acquisition by APCO, we are looking to expand our Energy & Natural Resources Team with a Project/Associate Consultant. This is the intersection between the energy sector – financial, political, and media audiences.

The Role

As a Project/Associate Consultant at Camarco, you will have a platform to learn, grow, and hone your skills in communications, working beside some of the most experienced personnel in the industry. To be successful in this role you must be proactive, conscientious, and enthusiastic, and demonstrate a keenness to learn and develop your career within Camarco.

About You

Previous experience in Energy & Natural Resources or PR is not necessary, although the successful candidate will be expected to show an understanding of business and an interest in the City and Westminster / politics. We would also expect the successful candidate to have a basic understanding and interest in the Energy & Natural Resources sector. With this role, you will develop skills that will enable you to interpret and analyse financial statements and results or the political agenda picking out key messages and understanding how to communicate to key stakeholder audiences.

  • Support client accounts; demonstrating attention to detail;
  • Complete work accurately and within deadlines;
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrate an eagerness to help others and be a valued member of the team;
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills both internally with colleagues and externally with clients, journalists, and analysts;
  • Be interested in and up to date with current affairs within the industry;
  • Learn how to use media and investor data systems, as well as the regulatory news service.
  • With time, anticipate team and client needs and address them proactively;
  • Have a keen interest in Financial PR/Comms;
  • Overall, be a collaborative, engaged, and hardworking individual and an ambassador for Camarco.
