Are you a budding developer with a passion for Microsoft's Power Platform? Do you thrive in structured environments and have a keen eye for detail in software testing? If so, we want you to join our innovative team as a Junior Developer!

Anabas are a dynamic, national Facilities Management company whose focus lies in supporting corporate office occupiers who look for a great workplace experience.

As part of our IT Team, you will be based at our Head Office in Darlington. Hybrid working is available for this role with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office based on business need. Occasional UK travel may also be required.

This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours a week at an annual salary of £35,000.

Key responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft's Power Platform, with a strong focus on Power Automate.
  • Work within a structured software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure quality and consistency across projects.
  • Conduct software testing to identify and resolve defects, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements and design effective solutions.
  • Create and manage workflows, connectors, and custom applications using Power Automate.

About you

The essential skills and experience 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft's Power Platform, particularly Power Automate.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience working within a structured software development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of JSON data structures and their practical applications.
  • Experience in software testing and quality assurance practices.
  • Familiarity with best practices in software development and testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirable qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in Power Platform or related technologies.
  • Experience with other Microsoft tools and technologies, such as Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell).
  • Understanding of integration techniques and APIs.
