Join Amcor and you can be part of the team that makes the packaging of the future better for people and our planet.
Here at Amcor, we work together every day to make a positive impact on the lives of millions of people across the globe by providing packaging for essential products, including food, beverages, pharmaceutical, medical, home and personal care. We are sustainability leaders in our industry, and we were the first global packaging company to commit to making all our products recyclable or reusable by 2025. In addition, our products play a vital role in a circular economy as we are working toward 30% recycled material across our portfolio by 2030, and we are one of few packaging companies committed to using science-based targets and achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
We are always looking for talented and passionate individuals who are motivated to make a difference. Working at Amcor means you will have a unique opportunity to be a part of an organization that is committed to innovating and driving new solutions to create more sustainable packaging solutions.
The role
Are you detail-driven, curious, and looking for a role where structure and precision matter? Do you enjoy solving problems and making sure things are done properly? This could be your opportunity to build a career in quality and compliance at a global packaging leader.
We’re looking for someone organised, eager to learn, and comfortable working with data, documents and cross-functional teams. You don’t need to have worked in a quality role before – we’ll provide full training – but you’ll need the mindset and motivation to work in a regulated, standards-driven environment.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our Quality team, you’ll help manage the systems that keep our products safe, consistent, and compliant. You’ll:
- Support the day-to-day operation of our quality management systems
- Help ensure documentation, records and certifications are accurate, current and well organised
- Coordinate internal audits and assist during customer or regulatory inspections
- Contribute to onboarding, training and communication around quality standards across site
- Monitor and support routine testing (e.g. microbiology, allergen) and follow up on findings
- Help identify and implement improvements to processes, controls and documentation
- Work closely with departments across the site to maintain alignment on good manufacturing practice (GMP)
What we’re looking for
We’re open to a range of backgrounds – this role could suit someone early in their career, or someone with transferable skills from admin, manufacturing, lab work, compliance or logistics.
What matters most is your approach. We’re looking for:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A structured, methodical way of working
- A strong sense of ownership and follow-through
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and managing digital documents
- Comfort working in a process-driven environment with clear standards
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work across teams
- A keenness to learn, adapt and develop over time
Any knowledge of GMP, audits, document control or quality systems is welcome but absolutely not essential.
