    Could you be the full-time Junior Production Planner in Crewe we’re looking for?

    Your future role

    Take on a new challenge and build your career in operations planning within a global leader in sustainable rail transport. You’ll report to the Production Planning Manager and play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of production activities; learning the ropes while covering multiple roles and contributing to real outcomes that impact our customers. This role offers a clear path for progression towards  fully qualified Production Planner with greater responsibilities.

    We’ll look to you to

    • Assist in creating, controlling, and updating the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
    • Support development of detailed production and material delivery schedules
    • Create and maintain accurate order data in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
    • Monitor production progress and support site capacity planning (short, mid, and long term)
    • Provide support for planned/unplanned absence cover across the team
    • Escalate issues proactively to maintain schedule integrity
    • Participate in improvement actions and planning calculations using working hours and capacity data

    • Experience using ERP systems is a plus
