The role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative intern who is eager to develop their design skills and gain invaluable in-house experience. Our ideal candidate is a passionate and ambitious individual who loves to learn new skills, has a keen eye for design, and is excited about contributing to our innovative projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Design/UX team on website design and brand enhancement projects.
  • Assist in creating visual assets for web, print, and digital media.
  • Support the development and maintenance of brand guidelines.
  • Help design marketing materials such as brochures, banners, social media graphics, and email campaigns.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance user experience and brand presence.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to the company's branding and style guidelines.
  • Assist with photo editing, retouching, and image optimisation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design tools to bring fresh ideas to the team.

Essential and desirable skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Basic understanding of web design principles and experience with tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new design challenges.

Qualifications and study requirements

  • Ideally between the second and third year of the relevant degree.
